A Letter to My English Writing Teacher

Dear Jane,
Well, we have learned the English Writing for a semester. In this semester, I think I have learned some techniques of English writing. Before I learned these skills, I just can write short articles in the form of the entrance examination. The most I have learned is the structure. Before, I always write any words which came into my mind. It was so terrible that there was no coherence in articles. After I studying this course, I gradually realize how to build a structure before I write an article. For example, I learned “Time order” and “Space order”. On the other side, I found that I had some mistakes of writing form. For instance, I never notice the margin before, or the rules of capitalize…etc. So, I really have learned something in this semester, and I think it is good to me.
Because of the time factor, we can’t learn more about writing. I want to learn more about the writing form of some important exams such as TOFEL or TOEIC. I know that the exams are not easy for us, but it is really important to our careers. So, I think that I can learn more about this aspect.
Finally, this course is going to come over. I really want to say thank to you. Although you is a little strict, but I did leaned many is this class.

Exchanged Student

I want to fly far far away.This one of the reasons that I implied the exchanged student. I really want to go far away from this place. Perhaps, I want to escape, or I want to see this world more. I am really tired about everything here. But I haveno idea about what can I do except just escape continuouslly.

I know that I am in a bad mood now, but I can't control myself.

Of course! The exchanged student is my dream. Studying abroad is the dream from my childhood until now. America is one of my favorite countries. So I think this summer I will do my best to prepare the TOFEL test.!

Sea

Sea is my favorite thing. It can conclude anything.Reacently, I really want to go to the beach. Listening to the sound of sea is felicitous. Enjoy the breeze. Play the water. What a nice summer!Like this girl in the picture. She look so happy, and her happiness infects me.
I hope that I can go to the beach this summer:)

Avril Lavigne

Avril Lavigne is a girl who knows what she wants. And when it came to writing her eagerly awaited third album, The Best Damn Thing, she had one very clear goal in mind: To make it fun. While touring in 2004 for her last album, Under My Skin, which sold more than 8 million copies worldwide, the Canadian-born punk-pop dynamo found that her favorite songs to play were the faster, more up-tempo songs so she resolved to make a record that captured the kind of high-spirited, full-throttle energy that she loved to unleash on-stage.

The Best Damn Thing is brimming with gutsy guitar riffs, instantaneously catchy sing-along party-starting choruses, power pop punk, and rebellious rock 'n' roll attitude. It's a marked departure from the darker, more introspective tone of Under My Skin and on tracks such as the defiant, riotous, kiss-off-to-a-cheating-boyfriend "Everything Back But You", Avril took pleasure in creating scenarios for her lyrics that weren't, as she says, "straight out of my diary." The result is a collection of songs that reveal just how far she's evolved as a songwriter and singer, from the sassy, empowering "I Can Do Better" (one of Avril's personal favorites) to the irrepressible first single "Girlfriend" which unexpectedly combines a hip-hop beat with beefy power chords, hand-claps, and a chanted girl-group-style chorus with a punk rock twist to the emotional ballad "Keep Holding On", which she wrote at the request of 20th Century Fox for the studio's fantasy/adventure film Eragon.

As an artist with a keen and well-trained ear for powerful, magnetic pop melodies, Avril was intensely involved in every aspect of The Best Damn Thing's creation: From being fiercely independent while writing her own songs ("I didn't have an A&R guy on this record," she emphasizes. "I knew exactly how I wanted it to sound."), to choosing her producers and musical collaborators, to obsessively going back and tweaking guitar tones and drumbeats in the studio, she worked hard to ensure that it would be her best record yet.

The album features the production skills of Butch Walker (who has also produced The Donnas, American Hi-Fi, and Avril's second album, Under My Skin), Dr. Luke (Pink, Lady Sovereign), Rob Cavallo (Green Day, My Chemical Romance, Goo Goo Dolls), and her husband Deryck Whibley (from Sum 41). The process turned out to be a blast: "I didn't know making a record could be so fun," she says. She was eager to work with her good friend Butch again, as she says, "What's great about Butch is that he's a talented artist as well as being an incredible producer." And about collaborating with Dr. Luke, she adds, "Luke and I had a really good connection and chemistry." The relaxed atmosphere in the studio comes across in the songs themselves . Avril's laughter rings out in "I Can Do Better", and in "Girlfriend" you can hear her, she says, "playing a beer bottle" (by blowing into it) in the last few choruses.

Four of the songs on The Best Damn Thing "Innocence", "Hot", "One of Those Girls", and "Contagious" were co-written with Avril's former bandmate Evan Taubenfeld. "Evan is one of my best friends in the world," she says, affectionately. "He's been with me since day one."

Of course, all of the spiky, buoyant energy that drives the album will come to life in the live show that Avril is planning for her tour later this year. She has assembled a new band, and is even bringing along two dancers ("I'm doing choreographed dancing for the first time ever," she grins. "It's going to be such a blast").

A great deal has happened in Avril Lavigne's life since she released her debut album, Let Go, in 2002, when she was 17 years old. That album snagged 8 Grammy nominations and four Juno Awards (including Album of the Year and New Artist of the Year), spawned the anthemic hit singles "Complicated", "Sk8ter Boi", and "I'm With You", and sold more than 16 million copies world-wide. Under My Skin cemented the Napanee, Ontario native's superstardom, entering U.S., Canadian, and U.K. charts at #1, unleashing smash singles "Don't Tell Me" and "My Happy Ending", and collecting three more Juno Awards along the way. In 2006, Avril married Sum 41's Deryck Whibley and branched out into acting, appearing in Richard Linklater's Fast Food Nation and lending her voice to the Dreamworks animated film Over the Hedge.

She may be a bit more sophisticated these days, but she's still peerless, and still fearless. The Best Damn Thing is Avril Lavigne at a new stage in her life; she's passed through the shadows of teen angst and emerged in a spotlight, ready to have fun and rock out and yes, even dance. It is, just as she intended, the best damn thing she's ever done.

Look this photo! It’s really beautiful! A boy and a girl are leaning to each other back by back. They are seems to thinking about different things, without talking. But I think there exists some special affection between them. They must trust each other. Otherwise, they are perhaps shy to express their emotions. Anyway, there looks so enjoy about this happiness.

Oh...who lives in a pineapple under the sea?...SpongeBob SquarePants! Absorbent and porous and yellow is he...SpongeBob is a sweet, generous, friendly, trusting good guy. His buck-toothed grin and tremendously expressive face and body, along with his pure and good nature make him completely loveable. SpongeBob's innocent and good intentions never let him do anything purposely wrong or harm anyone. His boss Mr. Krabs & next door neighbor Squidward seem to be the brunt of his misadventures. He is the fry cook at the Krusty Krab working alongside Squidward. His free time is spent with his buddy Patrick, his friend Sandy and his pet snail Gary. He especially enjoys catching jelly fish at jellyfish fields. When his pineapple home is destroyed by nematodes, a single SpongeBob tear magically recreates his home from a tiny seed in just a few seconds. No wonder we love him.

Sunrise

Recently, I am really crazy! I have been coutinuously slept for two or three hours every day for a week. That was so strange. We have already finished our mid-term exam. But Last week, I saw the sunrise for three days. I even do back to the dorm at dawn. Some of my classmates and I went singing, playiny all the night. It's so crazy but realy fun to me! I really enjoy with my classmates. Although it is really makes me tired.

Afternoon Tea

It's an unavailable afternoon to relax like last Saturday. I spent all noon to chat with my senior high classmate. We are really good friends, so we talk about every thing.With some cakes, cookies, and a cup of milk tea, we talk a lot about our college life. Part of the college life is crazy, fun, and happy. Another part is sad, angry....
Before our date, actually, I was really in a bad mood.But after we talked, I feel better now. Friends are always beside me. It's true.

C Program Design

What is C program design! It's so difficult to me.
Today, we have C program design mid-term exam.
I studied it very hard last night.
But I still couldn't figure out what is it.
I am so sad. Is it right that I came here to study electronic?
This is always a big question confused me.

My Internet is Alive!!!!!!

The internet of my dorm was locked last week.I am so sad that I can't chat with my friends ,or write my blog.
Last week,one of my friend of MSN delievered some bugs to me.
Soon,My IP was locked immediately.
I was so sad.What I could do is just study.
i can't serf the internet.
Luckily,we had two days off,so I cant go home to serf the internet.
This is the only thing that made me happy last week!

Basketball

Yesterday,electronic and electric machinery department's girls basketball team practiced in the night.We seldom practice, so after playing a while, we were so tired,But we just enjoyed in it.

Playing basketball is a sporty,interesting exercise.Before my university period,I had never played basketball,I just played volley ball only.

After touching basketball,I found it is really a good sport.Everytime I play it.I always in a really good mood.

I like it very much!

Today is a good day.The sun is shining above the sky.Now I'm in the starbucks near my senior school now.I love starbucks.It's atmosphere is really good.I can enjoy myself alone and relax here.Drinking some coffee and listening music.What a wonderful life!
Only just, I saw some of my school sisters. They had a perform about marching band this mornig.I was also a member of marching band of my senior high.It's a really unforgetable memory.As a seat of honor,I always lead my classmate to practice.We had many performances brfore.We also attend the Rose Parade with the honor guard of our school in America.What a hard but beautiful memory!

Today is a sunny day. What I want to do is sleeping in the dorm. Because I am so tired. This morning, Some of our classmates and I went to a mountain to chat. I feel vary happy because I have many friends with me. When I sad, I like to go to mountain to relax my mind. I can feel that can relax my mind .So I often go to mountain when I was bad moon .I really enjoy the time in the mountain. It can make me think more what I don’t think in my boring life. Sometimes, I also go to the beach. Listen to the voice of the wave hit on the rock. It can make me have more thinking about my life. What is I really want to do? What things are I really like?
